FAQ

Brewing your tea

First rule, never assume brewing with 100°C boiling water. There is no easy way to make a nice cup of tea, especially good grade of loose leaf tea.

In our tea package, you will find an instruction guiding you to taste the best of that tea.

It is different to all teas. Some needs 10g, and some only needs 5g.

We will put it in the instruction.

It varies from 2 to 5 minutes, depends on the quality and the way it was process.

The more delicate, the shorter usually.

Yes, absolutely!

Some people might find it gross to drink cold tea, but cold-brew actually brings out different flavour to some teas that you could never imagine.

There are two simple ways.

  1. Measure right amount of loose leaf and cold water, put the loose leaf at the bottom of a container, gently pour the water in. Leave them in the fridge for at least 8 hours.
    [Gyokuro, Ceremony Grade Matcha]
  2. Prepare some ice with a container. Measure right amount of loose leaf and water at right temperature, and brew it with right amount of time. Then pour them into the container.
    [Matcha, Sencha, Genamicha, Hojicha,e tc]

Yes. But there is a limit to different teas, it depends on how they were processed.

Also, as the need of warmer water for every re-brew, it brings out several notes from the same tea which will amaze you.
